Funeral Poem by B.C. Walters

Funeral

All suits.
All death.

All family
Besides the absent
All friends
Besides the absent

The ones that want to care

I see my father reading,
A moment of redeeming,
And
After a night of drinking, remembering
All forgotten

Life again
Until the next
