Fuming Fountains Poem by Emmanuel George Cefai

Fuming Fountains

"See there, ' my magic host did cry
Below fuming fountains slow did pry
Down in gorgeous abysses and sounds
Of din gigantic that went all the rounds
‘See there, see there, ' amidst the din
Shouted my host and I saw within
A cave of vast dimensions animals
That as in the Ark gathered were
Together, in peace, and clean and fair.
And quiet.
Many and much more I saw
Some high evolutive some more raw
In those wondrous spaces that my host
Inducted me in throughout one night
Then as the Dawn approached my host
Said ‘I go, ' looking round
I saw him not nor heard sweet magic sounds
But I found that returned was I to Dawn and day
And that I now trod pace by pace my usual way.

This is like the say after the Ark completes its mission with the drainjng of the lands. after the Deluge. Ho ill tske cre of thr rewscued animals. It appears thge man wh has been chosen to be their guardoan doesn't dilly trasp his new role. I hope he learns the animals NEED his counsel. What better life could he possibly live than Guardiann of the Animls
