From Where? Poem by Kashmeera Sambamurthy

From Where?

Intelligence! It springs from where?
Wisdom! It arises from where?
Smartness! It is built from where?
Confidence! It is developed from where?

Our Grades define us, Is it?
Others Opinions shape us, Oh really?
Shrewd talks carve us, Is that so?
Sympathy boosts us, Oh! Is it?

Experiences give meaning, not grades.
Knowledge opens the door, not opinions.
Wise talks enrich us, not shrewd talks.
Self belief does wonders, not sympathy.

Develop these thoughts,
Live through them.
Practice these Words,
Feel through them.

As time waits for none,
Life is too short
To wait for sweet moments.
