From The Beginning Poem by Dani Miller

I want to thank you for being there.
You were there through everything.
You came at the exact right time,
Came right at the beginning.

The beginning of my confusion,
The beginning of my pain.
The beginning was so long ago,
And yet you still remain.

It was actually kind of wierd.
You came right when everything started.
You and I just connected easily,
And we never really seperated.

I don't know what I would do without you.
Chances are I would lose my mind...
Even if you decided to leave...
I wouldn't be the one left behind.

Would I go with you or not?
I have pondered it, but never decided.
And I hope I will never make that decision.
Because we will never be divided.

I love you more than anything,
You have no idea how much I need you.
So thank you for what you have done,
And in advance for what you will do.
