From Afar Poem by Roman Pines

From Afar

Sacred, your life, your love, your loveliness
entwined in this twilight
so gracefully as would become a goddess
bestowing love and worshiped ever tight.

Throughout long centuries that we endeavor
to learn to love under this sky and to excel on par,
a woman with unpinned hair
watches over us, from the stars, from afar.
