From A Young Mind Poem by Icy rivas

From A Young Mind

A place where I am from
And to tell you the truth when I see the news
The events just seemed dumb
All I see now a days
Is a place where people die.
Tears of sadness
People cry
Now keep in mind that I am 13
And there is still not much that I have seen
But I know enough
That when it comes to this place
You have to be tough
And it seems that your fate is already decided
Good and evil seem to be collided
It’s all so cruel and cold
All in our world
Nothing seems right
Everything just bites
Coming from a kid
And the words aren’t so big
A young mind
With not even a sign
Can say one thing
The sun does not always shine
And the birds do not always sing
There is on thing that I can understand
That around here you work for things
None of it comes at hand
And for the people who make it this way
I got one thing to say
The tears of blood fall down because of you
Not just mine but you’re too!
A heart colder then me
The fire burns
And you just can’t see!
But I guess there isn’t much I could do
Oh there’s my bus
Bye I got to go to school.
Good luck
