Friendship That May Never Work Out Poem by jessica ng kai lun

Friendship That May Never Work Out

Just what went wrong between the four
To make the atmosphere so tense and coarse
Wasn’t it said that we’ll be together
But now my throat the words gather
You are no longer my friend!
This poor, hurtful friendship has to end!
What was all about different people to blend
All I see was then
All of us drifting apart
No longer willing to just look over the lard
We used to be able to chat so easily
But now I think the talk’s beastly
I yell at you and you holler back
All the bright colors change from yellow to black
Things will never be the same again
What’s there to gain
From a friendship that may never work out
