Friendship On Fire Poem by Manager Poet

All who walk this earth needs a truly good friend.
When a man meets a woman they sometimes pretend.
For some of us, we seek a best friend who can be a mate.
We all know life is short yet I believe she is worth the wait.

Being friends first was not an obstacle though we live far apart.
Fire is something that can burn intensely from deep within a heart.
Rub two bodies together long enough; you soon will get a spark.
Once I get the directions, this smitten man will soon embark.

Can a friendship over time catch on fire?
This is my heart’s only true desire.
I must be patient for her to truly see me.
Ours will be a love that lasts for an eternity.
