Who hasn’t been called one?
Fact is, life can and should be fun.
However, real character does count.
Let’s liken it to a savings account.

Everyday is created for love.
Look inside and then above.
Each of us gives to one another.
We learned that from our mother.
...

Smart and driven from the start of her career.
She completed her doctorate with nothing to fear.
Teaching generations of managers was her gift.
Her students were never bored or left adrift.
...

These servants help people become productive again.
OT is a wonderful way to serve all now and then.
Many of us take for granted the simplest things in life.
Sometimes an accident or illness can cause us strife.
...

It’s a way to take the neck of grace and put it in the hangman’s rope.
Rules, rules, and more rules for the sake of rules gives you false hope.
Legalsim reduces the spirit of what has been given to a checklist.
Missing out on knowing that Jesus has always been in our midst.
...

Each day I recount what people, places, and
things I am grateful for.
Doing this has made my list grow more and more.
This little exercise the book 'The Secret' has taught.
...

Kevin first called you Buds,
then I added Biddy.
Combining those words didn't
seem very gritty.
...

We’ve heard the words used on “The Apprentice.”
Ah, but lessons can be learned so let’s reminisce.
Each week, we saw teams competing to win.
One loser will be fired much to their chagrin.
...

A few years ago I lost my way.
Christians call it “going astray”.
No shepherds went and looked for me.
To most, I was just more human debris.
...

Some of us fly through life with the greatest of ease.
Look at the amazing men and women on life's trapeze.
In this journey through life, do you require a safety net?
Some feel the need for a net to minimize a relationship regret.
...

His hair is ashen and gold,
To most, a pleasant surprise
His neckties are never old
He wears Vicki Davis’ ties

At the office, I needed to fill a position.
Finding the right fit is every manager's mission.

My wife told me to give her a try.

All who walk this earth needs a truly good friend.
When a man meets a woman they sometimes pretend.

Character

Who hasn’t been called one?
Fact is, life can and should be fun.
However, real character does count.
Let’s liken it to a savings account.

Deposits to character add up over a lifetime.
Keep reading for there’s still more rhyme.
Telling two lies doesn’t make you a liar.
Doing right is what your heart must desire.

It is true withdrawals can be made.
If that does occur, don’t be afraid.
You know who and what you are.
Don’t let others dim your star.

I go through this life now alone.
Refined by fire, I’ve since grown.
One more line and then I’ll be through.
What does having character mean to you?
