*-* Friends 2, We Meet, Kisses (3 Tanka) Poem by Ben Gieske

*-* Friends 2, We Meet, Kisses (3 Tanka)

Rating: 2.7

dog and lizard
resting on a log
sometimes
friends don’t need to look very far
they just meet

looking up
looking down
an upside-down tree
we both
arrive where we plan to be

where land and sea kiss
along the shore
there you will find
that beauty
where heart and soul meet

A glorious trio of poetic coupling. You use your words sparingly, communicating the heart of each picture. '...friends don’t need to look very far, they just meet.' says it all. love, Allie ♥ ♥ ♥ ♥
