Friday Florida Poem by Blaine Strong

Friday Florida

Friday-Florida. Budlight moonlight.
Loneliness. Change my name to blue.
Desperation, balancing the edge of an edge.
Sunshine- lack of it to be precise.
In these days darkness follows me. Despair.
We can change. Change me, I spent the last of mine at the corner store.
Strange seasons, when youre not in the fields.
Chapters of my life passing. Passion.
Enchantment from her eyes. Train me.
Restrain me from the demons that I may refrain.
Refrain from breaking, snapping the chain.
Friday nights- Florida

Lost in paradise, Do we all have our demons? I'm sure of it. Some from drugs, and depression, some from jail, some from war. Some from all.
