Freedom
Joy is a thing you can feel;
It is a stirring in your heart!
Joy is when you want to sing;
You want to yell as loud as you can!
You want to lift your voice up,
Praising God
For letting you be this way;
For letting you be free.
written in High school when a teacher in study hall (a friend of my mom's) told me to write a poem. I told her I couldn't. She said, 'Yes you can! '
