Fragile Poem by Annie Boo

Brace yourself for the goodbye
because you can feel it coming around

you know he won't be waiting outside the door
so why think that there's something more?

He broke your heart but you still want him
this is a game you clearly cannot win.

fighting back the tears when they ask if your okay
'i hate him for what he did to me' is what you want to say

but you nod your head and fake a smile
why must you be oh so fragile
