In the aisles of the churches wherever you preached
so many gathered always, with fervent prayers
and with ardent loud hymns on their lips;
everyone felt an intense unity with Almighty God
which you invoked by your words and praises to God,
so thank you father, for sharing the marvel of devotion
which was your best gift of strength to those who
surrounded you with hopes and anticipations.
In the hearts of anguish where you torched relief,
so many with pains and distress gathered around you;
as sympathy so intense you showered upon them,
with God's intercession you helped them heal,
so thank you father for helping them
to regain their health and their recover their faith
as your support to them was so appropriate
in their moments of ordeal and agony.
In the faithfulness of love and concern that you depicted
to those who rested on their beds in their hours
of ill health or sickness, in their moments of peril,
you lighted up their lives with wonder of your prayers
and your blessings with assurances made them
feel much lighter when upon your shoulder they cast
their hopes and you wiped away their tears
returning back to them their serenity with a message
that what has been foregone must not to be clutched;
you enabled them to turn a new leaf, a new page
with God's name and prayers upon their lips
that a new day has to be lived with grace and gratitude;
so thank you father for sharing the magnificence
of your spirituality with true dedication to humanity.
