Four Years Of Hell Poem by Donal Mahoney

Four Years Of Hell

Rating: 5.0

If the poor we will always
have with us, then the rich we
will have with us as well.

Our system gives birth to both.
Greed is part of man's nature,
a cancer in some but not all.

Wall Street knows the difference
because greed is pandemic there.
But no one envies the poor.

To envy the rich is useless as well.
So let's put out the bonfire of anger
and survive our four years of hell.
