Found Love At Coppermine Poem by Rownel Allen

Found Love At Coppermine

You called up to say 'hi'
I said ' I'm bored, yes, why? '
'Let's go to Coppermine' you replied
'Good idea' same thing on my mind.

Talked about family, talked about life
Crazy stuff, wacky stories and the like
Shared some good laughs while watchin' at the waves
Seated close together, blowin' in the winds.

I know we're just friends and that's how it should stay
But something magical happened don't know how to explain
Too shy to admit, too scared to try
I guess I found my love right here at Coppermine.
