Found A Way Poem by Mark Hopwood

Found A Way

If it wasn't for you
I could've been who I needed to
You blew my mind, I didn't know what I'd find
So why did you leave me behind,
In this world Without you
In this world On my own
You never listened to a word I'd say
But hey hey hey, I found my own way
Back home again today.

So now I'm home and dry
Your never ever gonna see me cry
Because you're not around to bring me down
You won't know if I float or drown
In this world, without you
In this world, on my own
Yesterday was just another day
But hey hey hey, I found my own way
Back home again today.

I guess there's nothing else to say
Life goes forwards, unless it gets led astray
I'll go about doing what I will do
I guess I can live without you
In this world without you
In this world on my own
In this world its you who'll be alone.

If it wasn't for you I guess
I wouldn't be here I'd be out of this mess
You made me crawl and then slammed the door
I'd say why but I'm just not sure,
In this world without you
In this world, on my own
The games you're into, I could never play
But hey hey hey, I found my own way
And I'm home once again and its gonna be OK.
