Found A Way Poem by Spiritwind Wood

I know the past of yesterday
was hard for us to take
left with the words we would say
the dreams that we would make
seemed lost and shattered
we thought all that we had together
would be lost and gone forever
with love torn and tattered
trying to get over every mistake
but we walked through the darkness
a path that showed and lit the way
in our arms we found a way to each other
in a dawn of a new day
like a story of a fairy tales kiss
we fought through the sadness
and found a way to take the pain away
