Forgiveness Poem by Ontomu William

Forgiveness

I cannot forget that fateful night
After which I had pronounced doom
Upon you
For the felony against humanity
When I said in harmony
She will ne'er know harmony!
For I knew the power in the word
But for my God,
No rubber could erase that eventful night
And no joy could override that plight
Though we had sailed to the moon together
Visited Dubai's tallest
And the cascades of Kenya
The stone always rested at the crest
In the deep
For that regrettable night
I lost my very treasure
My personality
I lost my entire world!
I lost my life
And everything I called love
But for my God
No sorry could make any right
To rub it all
And the blisters dry as well
And double my love for you
