Forgiven Poem by Dustin Burel

Forgiven

Rating: 5.0

Wounded by one’s kiss,
And broken by one’s lie,
A worry of what I’ll miss,
I fear of not being that guy,

I wish to heal those wings…
And push away all these things
And cut away those strings,
To stop all stress that clings…

I can forgive, I can forget, here my heart will stay,
No amount of sin you’ve done can make me turn away,

Let me be your taker,
Place your trust in me,
I know you may be hesitant,
But you’ll see what we could be…
