Forgive Not, Forget Not Poem by Ima Ryma

Forgive Not, Forget Not

An elephant and a giraffe
Were standing on a riverbank.
The elephant let out a laugh.
A turtle came by on a plank.
With a swift move, the elephant
Drop kicked the turtle far and wide.
The giraffe asked him why the punt?
'Because, ' the elephant replied.
'He bit me fifty years ago.'
'A lesson needed to be taught.'
Quite impressed, the giraffe said so,
'What a great memory you've got.'

'Yep.' the elephant said, 'It's all'
'A matter of turtle recall.'

I actually laughed out loud at the last line! Wasn't expecting that. I love a good pun (or a bad one) . Thanks for the chuckles.
