Forget Me Not Poem by Kristina Bowman

Forget Me Not

Rating: 5.0

Sitting in my garden of sad tears and fresh bloomed flowers
Looking up as it rains, lovely April Showers
Tears of salt mix with rain of not
Make the flowers grow only faster
The thoughts in my mind make me thing of what I got
Not much come to mind, but that's okay
'Cause all I need are my flowers to stay
Tulips, Roses, Daffodils, a Cherry Blossom
Daisys, Hydrangea, and a Dendrobium
Flowers of beauty and freedom
Do I wish I was one
There's one single flower that has yet to grow
One, not many people know
A Forget Me Not
A Flower that's beauty outstands
A flower that held in a hand
Will make skin as smooth as silk
And as I think this, the tears still fall
It makes me relize I want to be as this
A 'Forget Me Not' in his eyes
I want my beauty to outstand
A thing he would want to hold in his hand
Make out love as smooth as silk
But that won't happen because of her
In his life I'm only known as a person
That used to be in his life
Our love to him only a blurr
I wish in his mind, I would still wander
Time has passed and not much to come
Their love grows strong
And I grow numb
The flower grew
And I withdrew
Becoming dead, and forgotten
I truely hope he remembers
Me as the flower that used to be in his life
Cause to me
He'll always be
That amazing
Forget Me Not
