Forever You
Gone from my life
In the blink of an eye
Out of my life
Forever
Forever was short
Not really forever at all
Because your back
Inside of my head
Etching away
Scratching and clawing
Tearing your way
Into my heart and soul
Again
I tried to forget you
But you would not go away
I tried to confine you
But you would not be caged
I tried to deny you
But you are a part of me
I tried to give in
But it was to late
I miss your touch
Your gentle caress
I miss your eyes
Deep and wise
I miss your voice
Sweet music to my ears
I miss your embrace
Shielding me from the world
I miss your love
It kept me strong
Through my trials and tribulations
I loved gazing
Into your eyes
How they would draw me in
Keeping me entranced
I look
And I can't find you near
I'm so consumed by you
That I forget you are really gone
How could I let you go
Why did I not fight
To keep you by my side
Involuntary tears fall freely down my face
As I remember the pain of losing you
How could I let you go
My whole world left with you
And with it you took my heart
I can still feel the empty void
It left inside of me
You were the king of my heart
And I love you still
Aways I will
Deep inside the heart
You carry in your pocket
And deep in my mind
That remembers every part of you
Under the hand that lovingly touched you
And the feeling of sheer bliss
After making love to you
Every memory we created
I wish on every star in the sky
That one day you'll return to me
But I know you won't
And I will never love anyone else again
I love you
And you'll hold my heart
