Cradle me with your arm
Under the tree of love
Tell me this will last.
Wipe the tears of my eyes
When the weight of life
Is pushing me down
In despair.
Let your love -
The bridge of hope.
Sew the vein
Of my bleeding heart,
And clot it
With the tears of joy.
I’ll surrender my selfish heart
And give yours mine.
I’ll relish your love
With moments of ecstasy.
The time we have,
Our love I’ll care for
Like a flower.
I’ll water them
Cultivate it
Like a garden
Let it grow
Until it blooms
Into a beautiful lash
Garden of Eden.
Our love will flourish.
I want it to be
A forever love.
