Forcing A Far Off Façade Poem by Aniruddha Pathak

Forcing A Far Off Façade

What if world zealots see Earth from far—
As far as hundred thousand miles are,
Earth looking but an orange
Would not their outlook change?
No more borders visible,
Nation, nor hoary fable,
Nor hoary histories,
Nor fanatics' zealotries,
And every nation an unknown star,
Forcing them a unified façade,
What ere were gem-jacinth are now jade!
