Forbidden Goodbye Poem by Lovelyn Layon

Forbidden Goodbye

Condemn me not!
For a deep slumber, a heart has awaken
And beyond its ambivalence
Lies a narrow scream that has forgotten,
For the weary heart,
For the lonely soul,
Love knows nothing about fear
For I fear for your vanishing sight.

Blame me not!
For I come before saying 'hello'
But I'll leave by telling you 'goodbye'
For tomorrow this pain will be gone
And memories will be lost forever.

Scream!
This never ending pain exalts my chest,
For this feeling I can't resist,
And everything about you is a total mock.

Love was never that easy to understand,
But deep within your eyes I dare to realize,
That nobody had been in one place
But there are certain things you must forget.

Condemn me not...
for the painful goodbyes
Are the ones that never meant to say so..
Thus, it is forbidden.
