For The Greater Good

When many more of us
are living than dying,
life seems to be why dying
is seen to be
for the greater good.

Then, as many more die,
death doesn't sound so good,
and we spend up big to stop the dying,
and expand the service sector,
until death seems to be why dying
is for the greater good.

Then dying decreases
and life
again seems why.
