Talking to you
I feel my heart opening like a flower
allowing my feelings
to finally escape
Your sincerity
is like fresh air which I take into my lungs
and I can breathe at last
Your words
give my life meaning
turning me from insignificant to significant again
Your gentleness is a healing for my wounded soul
Your caring
like a ray of sunshine on my frozen heart
and your confidence in me
gives me hope for tomorrow
For that, my friend
I thank you
