For One Momentum Poem by John Martinez

For One Momentum

If I could for one momentum
Share with you my inner sanctum

It truly is a sacred place, filled with marvels
Imbued with grace

I visit there to keep my senses
From reeling through my cosmic fences

Vaulted ceiling and stain glass walls
Sculptured angels adorn the halls

I weave my way to my lotus alter
I mustn't halt, I mustn't falter

It is my place of gratitude
My spirit is refreshed, I am in solitude

One lone candle, one singular challis
A place of atonement within my palace

A pantheon to all my deeds
Be they bouquets, be they weeds

Corinthian columns align the walls
Fragrant incense embrace the halls

Amidst the opulence, and the splendor
I sit in awe as I render

To the divine within, my love, my fervor

Celestial melodies grace my ears
Expressing my hope, diminishing my fears

Once again I am with thee
It is here I find solace, it her I'm truly free

There is no time, there is no space
I raise my hand to touch your face

Seeking guidance, seeking direction
Looking deep within, it was always my reflection
