For My Heart Belongs To You Poem by ANDREW BLAKEMORE

For My Heart Belongs To You

Rating: 5.0

I see the sun now shining
At the dawning of the day,
And all the birds are singing
In the branches that do sway,
Amid the breeze that's blowing
And the sky so clear and blue,
I feel a sense of wonder
For my heart belongs to you.

I see the rolling landscape
Far across the fields of green,
The beauty of the flowers
In the meadow so serene,
The morning is so joyful
And no words could be more true,
I feel a sense of wonder
For my heart belongs to you.

I see the gentle river
And its waters flowing by,
Shining just like silver
And so pleasing to my eye,
So peaceful in the countryside
Such love I never knew,
I feel a sense of wonder
For my heart belongs to you.

I see the sun now falling
At the ending of the day,
And skies of burning amber serve
To light the fading way,
As shadows start to lengthen
And I gaze upon this view,
I feel a sense of wonder
For my heart belongs to you.
