For Mizoram Poem by Julius Akim

For Mizoram

I heard something, something;
Of bad news and agony,
Of grief and pain,
Our Jesus, our Lord;
Shower your blessings upon us;
We are lost, yes lost and confused,
Without a shepherd to lead us.

Of madness and chaos engulfed us,
Those merry days long gone,
Don't forsake us, Almighty;
Without u, we are nothing,
Lead us to the right path,
So that we may, fortunately,
Prevent the cataclysmic oblivion.
