For I Am Only Human
For I am only human,
and I've made mistakes,
but I'll stand tall,
and do whatever it takes.
I see your face in every shadow,
and down every single street,
a rose I carry with me,
just in case we meet.
Again I'm the one that misses you,
everyday feels like forever.
I count the hours till I see you,
I cant wait to be together.
Everytime I'm forgiven,
I make another mistake,
for I am only human,
and it's your heart I brake.
I think the thought of you carrying a rose just in case you bump into her......that's so romantic. Beautiful poem. Sincerely, Mary
