For All Those Girls Poem by Bethany Waters

For All Those Girls

Rating: 4.2

Love, such a twisted word
With a sick and corrupted mind
Justifying
The stains on the knees of her blue-white pants
Slashes bleeding in her heart
Tearing her away from that she needed most
Dim cell phone light
Illuminating hate in her soul
Revealing the depth of insecurity
Pacified by the lines carved in
Torn faith
Of the damaged and unworthy
Will she ever know…
If love can be more than a nasty word?

Some hate, some distrust, some sorrow and some undying feel........that is what I make of your poem that does not believe in that four letter word called love.......but time will only tell that love binds all............mandara

Bethany, your poem portrays the cheap side, the wrong side of love in a very clear way. The twist is understandable, your warnings for all the girls are loud and clear, your expressions are genuine, full with blood. Very nice Poem 10.
