Foolish Poem by Ray Hansell

Foolish

Remember when you told me
That you'd love me forever
But tonight again I'm by myself
Your heart has turned colder than the weather

I thought that what we had
Would never fade away
How naive of me to think
That you would ever stay

I knew all about you
And your storied past
Why was I so foolish
To think I could make us last

Twisting of love into different corners motivates mind. Lost love brings sadness. But we hope love will be revived soon. An amazing poem is well penned.10
