Fool's Paradise Poem by Kayode Olubobokun

Fool's Paradise

This is where I dwell
I have food but I'm not contented, I don't know if the food is going to be delicious. I'm crying but there's no tears on my cheek, I wish rain would fall thinking I will meet new her but unfortunately try the old, I'm loosing my mind, I don't know what to do? Talking to cockroach like it can hear me...
Flame in my heart but no one to snuff it out
Watching two thugs sitting across the street through my window pane
Nothing is getting through my brain
My soul is weakened
It's seems my doomsday near
I'm restless, back to the quondam way I use to be
Trailing a void
There's A promise land ahead I asked myself if I can get there cause I'm loosing patience
I wonder if I dies today, what would it be my esteem.

This me living my fantasy Sometimes what we desire don't come our way not that we don't deserve them but sometimes what we desire don't come our way not that we don't deserve them but we never contented with what we have.
