Fool Poem by Anthony Spiros Mcgilvra

Fool

A hall of mirrors reflecting my thoughts
the plan becoming cleerer conecting the dots
its all before me in front of my eyes
the stage is set for my grand demise
come one come all and enjoy the show
watch me burn alive in the snow
see me rise to see me fall
little boys little girls come one come all
and after im done and the curtains fall
my chest is proud and im three feet tall
i can hear the crowd thats cheering me on
they want a encore they need a new song
but i am empty now nothing more to show
and they just dont care they just dont know
of the tears of the clown the pain in my soul
that i cover with laughter so knowbody knows
they want to see me die as a fool
a means of escape a wonderful tool
the aplause getting lauder my heart beating faster
what can i do to block out the laughter
i know what ill do ill put on my mask
ill just play along as long as it lasts
little boys little girls guess whos back?
its someone else thats dressed in black
luagh while you can and see what you will
cuz this is the end and tonight i will kill
