Follow My Lead Poem by Ol Buddy Jones

My mind and my heart are clear now, I see no evil
Tell the Lord you want to be saved and He will believe you
But you have to believe in yourself and really have faith
Stay in the Bible and believe that He will keep you safe
This one guy told me 'we cannot hide from God, no matter how we try
For He knows all we think and do, we can't escape His eye

That's a true statement, He will always be within us
During good times and the bad times, His Holy Power we should trust
When our loved ones say goodbye and we have to part
God can fill our loneliness with His presence in our hearts
God has a purpose for your life, so what you have to do
Is follow Him, believing that He'll keep directing you
God uses us as a storage to help someone in need
So we must trust Him to supply when we follow His lead.
