Flying Carpet Of Solomon Poem by Ima Ryma

Flying Carpet Of Solomon

King Solomon was said to fly
On a carpet around the world.
Sixty miles long and wide, sent high
Upon the winds, It's silks unfurled.
And the carpet could fly so fast,
Solomon could leave Israel noon.
Under him, lands and oceans passed.
Supper in India - so soon.
Armies with horses could transport
To wherever Solomon chose.
Or a vehicle used to court
The Queen of Sheba - rumor goes.

How could Solomon make this be?
Could have been an ancient E.T.!

A fascinating fantastic poem, but please never use a name from the Holy Bible to create a poem with a hilarious tone, but with a holy tone, of course you may!

Wow for me this is a novel masterpiece of poetic delight since we too believe king Solomon the prophet could fly with the winds and had winds in his control. U wrote it in a brill entertaining way bringing that real story to life. I hope u read mine too. Name sounds familiar.
