Fleeting Thoughts Of A Man Alone

Rating: 5.0

smiling confuses people they think im happy
im not
laughing confuses people they think their funny
your not
haunted by the absence of the one i love
losing the friends i hold dear
overprotectrive of the few i have left
time for me is now limited
people ask me the same old questions
but dont take the time to listen
im a tortured soul and so
i dont believe in a god
i refuse him

i understand that sometimes that though the world is a bright painting, there are always dark spots... behind every shiny diamond is a black cloth so that you can appreciate more its splendor... for me, I believe in God not just because of the Bible or the people around me but because I learned through my experiences... there are moments that i cannot explain because too foolish is my language and tongue for me to detail the exact feeling that I have felt different times but one essence.... God exists... anyway, looking at the way your heart wants to write the poem... nice poem you have here!
