Flame Of Passion Poem by David Harris

Flame Of Passion

Rating: 5.0

Our clothes clung to our bodies
like a delicate film of gossamer
as we swam in the warm waters
under the moon’s silver light.
When we touched, our senses
drove us into ecstasy
arousing within us the urge
that would never set us free
as the night swallowed us
within its warm desire.
Clinging to one another
as if our life depended on it
as the incoming tidal waters
swirl around our entangled bodies
as we lay upon the shore.
Breeching the gates of heaven
for now and ever more.
