First Sight Poem by Francis Kokutse

First Sight

Rating: 5.0

just the sight of you:
something kicked me,
my heart stopped,
and it was like a rebirth.

Your beauty,
was like a crafted doll,
your skin under the sun glowed
and your legs were
a proof that God is an artist.

I remember it clearly;
you were afar so,
you did not see my drooling,
my whole body shook
but, it was a good feeling.

Later, they explained it
to me that l had been
consumed with love.

Tell me, my friend,
did you ever feel this?
did your heart ever stop, ,
and did you ever drool?
