First Dance Poem by Katie Holland

First Dance

Rating: 5.0

As you formally invite me to dance, chills run up and down my spine.
I take your hand ever so lightly and walk onto the floor
Placing my arms around your broad shoulders, we begin to dance our very first dance

Great poem! It was making wanting more stanzas, though, because it was sweet, romantic, and short, but to the point. That first dance, how cute. God bless all poets-MJG.
