Firework. Poem by Konstantin Ananin

Firework.

- Last night you told me about our firework.
- Yes, but I don’t know how it works.
- What’s the problem? Tell me.
- I’ve lost the instruction, you see.
- My God, we have too little time.
_________________________- Wait a bit,
Don’t lose hope.
______________- I wonder where you lost it.
- In the street.
___________- Give me a match.
__________________________- Last year Peter
Almost burst his new house at Easter.
- You’ve told me a lot about your stupid friends.
- I’m afraid you can burst us with your own hands.
- Nonsense! Aha! Your lighter! Let’s make a fire.
Nearly midnight! I want you to get all your desires!
Put the box in the fire, run here and fall!
-Bang! ! ! -
__________- It’s burst, but I see no stars at all!
