Fire Dancer Poem by Kate D.

Fire Dancer

Flickering golden red silk
Jumping and swaying
Dancing
Consuming bone-white wood

Delicate tendrils of flame
Burning and leaping
Warming
Keeping the darkness away

Warming the lost traveler
Huddling and shivering
Freezing
Saved by the golden flames
