Fire A Blaze Poem by Damen Kern

Fire A Blaze

Walking through the darkest of Allies.
The eyes scanning from wall to wall.
Breath seen due to the coldness of winter.
Hearing voices going through his ears,
The buildings around him is his cage.

Seeing figures walking his way,
But the shapes are of his own.
He is with his brothers and all is shown to be better,
But the feeling is the same as they looked upon the cold walls.

Their rage burns inside them as hate for man was high.
The idea of their land back to them raced through their minds.
After awhile of planning, it all fell to place.

Their action came into play as they went to a hill and watched.
The once cold City was in a blaze and their masterpiece was complete.
The fires burned as they watched with glee.
Their homelands will be theirs once again.

As the Fire was Blazing,
They lifted their heads and howled to the moon
