Finding Heather Poem by Max Okere

Finding Heather

Rating: 2.5

I slept under the cold weather,
and woke up with a tiny feather.

Helen told me to find heather,
but i had no clue to wheter or not she was clever.

So i set off on my journey.

On the third day,
i was weak and weary,

Though i was given company by my two friends,
tweat and berry.

Suddenly i came up to a gender,
little did i know it was heather.

I'm afraid young Max, that you have a ways to go and a lot to learn so I won't put it on you at once. Please make sure the rhyming words actually have the same end sound. Now a lot of poets don't do that on Poemhunter. But it is a bad habit and I would like to see you avoid their bad habits. Also, always capitalize the word (I) . Not (i) . The rst is a little too much to get into right now, but you are young and have plenty of time. GW62
