Part your ways so that I may see truth
hiding beneath the surface you covet,
Doing your best to shelter any weakness
concealing all breaks upon a granite facade.
Whether it be pouring rain or filtered shine
masking tears or camoflauging your day,
I'll see light amongst shadows you cast
hear truth within any lie thrown past...
For love seeks not to defeat you,
But to free you.
