Fighting Poem by Bethany King

Fighting

Rating: 5.0

I hate the way we fight over nothing
The way you swear like it’s alright
I wish if we fought it was over something
And we wouldn’t be fighting when we said good night

You mean the world to me
But I won’t stay
If this is the key
To every day

I love you I do
But I’m over the tears
And the emptiness I feel
When you’re angry to

This move was meant to be for us
To make our life to become just one
But we both share the lack of trust
So I’m sorry Hun but I think I’m done

I have to leave for me to stay
The person that refuses to be afraid
