Feign Poem by Amanda Miller

Feign

Rating: 5.0

To watch a stranger,
With unopened eyes.
To open your mouth,
and speak only lies.

To pretend to cry,
with crocodile tears.
Pretend to be brave.
Never facing your fears.

To listen with ignorance,
And not an open mind.
To look to the helpless.
And pretend to be kind.

To scream in a whisper,
Hoping you are not heard.
To move your mnouth,
But not say a word.

To live a lie.
That you call life.
Pretending to be happy,
While living in strife.
