Fears Shadow Poem by Cory Calder

The never ending dark,

An undying abyss.

It quiets the lark,

Staves off loves kiss.

Bleak and dim,

Dreary to no end.

Everything is grim,

It’s hopeless to fend.

It holds joy bay,

Makes hearts depressed.

Brings fears to play,

Makes the mind distressed.

Evils unholy veil,

Satan’s vile power.

It does not heal,

Only turns moods sour.

It is deaths mark.

Flee, escape the fright.

Run from the dark,

And bask in the light.
